I just want to watch the (&^%E$%^& movie! I don’t want to “edit” it, “enhance it” or f*** with it in any way. I JUST WANT TO WATCH IT!!! The computer is not my life. I just want to watch what is, perhaps, an “old" movie. You would think Mac’s new super duper El Capitan, with the latest QuickTime, could do that, wouldn’t you? Well, it can’t. And you can spend hours searching through Mac (non)help to find a solution for “legacy” QUICKTIME movies and come up with nothing. Don’t get me wrong, I like Mac, and I own three, but Mac has always been long on hype and short on service. Nothing’s changed. This app does just what I want simply, cleanly, intuitively. It plays most any movie on my new MacBook Pro. Imagine that.

Playr is great app with one feature standing it aside from competition - it can automatically search the internet for subtitles in any language and this process is very asy and simple. Really like it!

it always miss the voice after the pause. but it has a clean interface.
- I need when I use the right and left arrows to move 5s and never stop the video when I do that. - I need to have the controls as a long flat bat at the very bottom when in full screen. - I need to have control over the sound with the keyboard like up arrow for up and bottom arrow to reduce it. - I need to have high sound like iTunes or Moviest app ( Equlizer ), cause some videos have low sound… Keyboard control like MPlayer Please and would be the best!
Good video player overall, simple UI and functions on just about all video files I’ve played so far (AVI, MP4, MKV) Only issue, I’ve had with some MKV files is that they crash after playing for a few mins, could be corrupt files on my end but I have converted and redownloaded others to have the same issue. Does not happen to all MKV files, but not sure how to fix the issue. Still worth the 4 stars.

Good Player
